Whoops. 70% chance of rain today.
P.S. IMSA obviously also sometimes ran the short course as the short course record was set by Davy Jones in the Jaguar.
P.P.S. Git yer own thread!

Why whoops? Rain races are fun to watch on TV.

Assuming it doesn't result in hauling a lot of cars out of gravel traps or spending a lot of time picking up pieces.
OTOH, IIRC, Fogarty was a rocketship in the rain last year, so they may be rain dancing right now.

Yup, it started raining and the times are +20sec slower than pole at the moment.

Sigh. Hopefully those are just new-car problems for the CHM Crawford. Blew an oil line in practice, some mysterious problems during the race.

Way to go Wilky, Frisselle and AIM. Two in a row.
This race was a thing of pure beauty to watch. Young Mr. Frisselle is really coming into his own as a driver.
Great stuff. As the only Canadian based team in Grand-Am, I love to see them do well.
Also great to see Gurney and Fogarty score well in points with Pruett and Rojas down a long way.
We might have a title fight on our hands after all.

It was a fun race to watch. I wish I was there to flag it, but on the other hand, it looks like the whole nascar slate was wiped for rain, and there is nothing more boring than sitting in the rain all day waiting for the GA race.

Good race, looked alot like Montreal - 61, 99, 58 and 23 running up front.
It's good to see AIM finally getting the results they deserve, now if the 58 could find the checkered flag...
On the other hand the 91 has gotten steadily worse and the SAMAX team can't find the cash to make it to the races anymore.
Is Allegra planning on running the rest of the season and preparing to run the full '09 season?
