David Martinez announced today that he has been chosen by the Forsythe/Pettit Team to replace David Garza temporarily in the #7 Axtel/Tecate/Mazda Atlantic Car. Garza suffered a dislocated hip injury during a training accident last weekend at his hometown of Monterrey.

Martinez will take part in an official series test day today at the picturesque Road America track, in preparation for rounds seven and eight of the championship which will take place this weekend (August 9th and 10th) at the same track.
