I wonder if the "Pinks" creators ever considered saving 18k a year and use a Christmas instead of Rich ? I guess that is supposed to be part of the show's allure. Saturday night racing in the south with a human tree and racing for pink slips. Ok, I think the novelty has worn off for me and I find the gearheads arguing for lengths tedious at best.
How would that save 18k a year?
If there's any logic to the world, that's what the bald guy makes a year.
As Creater/Producer of the two consistantly highest rating shows on Speed, as well as executive producer on several more, I'm sure that Rich makes a great deal more than 18k a year.
And as show's owner, there would be ZERO difference in the cost per episode whether Rich appears or doesn't.

“Crap programs” are anything that I don’t like.
“Because I don’t watch it” means that nobody watches it either.

Do you have the ratings for any of the recent episodes?

Fortunately, Patrick did not have a towel in her possession or the confrontation could have deteriorated into one of the great towel-offs in sports history.

Not at hand, but the recent renewal of both Pinks indicates that it is still doing pretty good.

Speed's own press, plus this:
Rich Christensen is an American television producer. Christensen attended from the University of Northern Iowa. He is best known as the creator, lead executive producer and host of the racing shows Pinks and Pinks: All Out, the number one and two shows behind Nascar on Speed Channel.
BTW, Barrett-Jackson gets better ratings when it's first run live.

Pinks and Unique don't even bother me anymore, it's these new shows that are really poorly executed. SuperCars Exposed wasn't too bad, but 101 cars is just awful. That guy isn't funny in the least bit and he knows even less about the cars themselves. Wrecked is just completely unwatchable, it should be on the Discovery Channel instead since it has absolutely zero to do with cars or racing.
I'm just gonna assume you had a brain fart.

As you can tell I'm partial..........But even I'm getting tired of the re-runs of Wrecked. It's getting played WAY TOO MUCH!!!! Eh, what do I know, I'm just a towing and recovery operator. Really need to relax with the shows. All the reality shows. Yeah they're cool but spread them out. Show a race and maybe a couple shows, some more racing. The programming is the same. Honestly getting tired of seeing Rich's shaved head all the time. It's burned out and Wrecked is getting that way real quick.

Unique Whips and Wrecked are just trash filler shows... will castro couldn't buy class, but then again, neither can most of his customers... and wrecked????? WTF??? wrecker driving is about as exciting as watching paint dry... like any reality show it takes "hollywood" to make them interesting, someone really goofed here.. c'mon speed.. show us racing, not crap.
