When my area first got Speedvision, it's was basically the only thing I'd have on my tv.
It was like a screensaver. At one point in addition to F1 I was following WRC, LMS, GT, bike series... I was watching WAYYYY too much tv.
BECAUSE, *real* content was always on. Flip it on, and it was REAL CAR CONTENT.
Now, it's frakking faux cartoon drama. Not to mention - maybe this is just my local Comcast affiliate, but wasn't it 24 hours of racing at one point? I may have imagined that, but it seems like I also "imagined" watching a lot more on Speedvision.
More open wheel or road/circuit racing.
I'd watch kart races. Anything but the wrestling/MTV Real World drama bs.

I want to see the return of WRC. As well as the Isle of Man TT. Bring back real shows like Motorsports Mundial.
Basically, I want what over 100% of the posters in this topic. More racing less reality. Back in the Speedvision Days, there was no need for all of this extraneous Craaap. Racing was the reality.
WRC, Pikers Peak, Isle of Man, Speed Touring Car and Gran Touring, BTCC, DTM, IndyCar, and as little NASCAR coverage as possible.
Please Fox,let SpeedTV go back to the old days. The days of the real racing fans watching a show for us.
Get rid of 90% of the reality garbage. Unique Dips just sucks. Pimp my ride is played out, Pass time is a bore, Wrecked, WTF does that have to do with racing?? If you want reality shows bring back some of the old ones regarding racing (i.e. Legends of Motorsport, F1 Decade, Motorsports Mundial etc.)
If you just have got to have NASCAR, just deal with the Truck series please. Nationwide and Sprint aren't as fun as they used to be.
Bring over Super GT and the D1GP from Japan. show us the historical racing (Group B Rally Cars are cool.) Give us the Unlimited Hydroplanes (I remember watching those races in person during the Pearl Harbor stop in the early nineties), more Targa Coverage other than just Targa Newfoundland and Targa New Zealand (I dunno if that is the right one).
Also, I want to see more SCCA Runoffs and the races that lead up to the runoffs.
Please Fox, listen to the fans for once. We're begging and demanding that you quit ruining our Speed Channel. In fact just change its name back to Speedvision and get it over with.

Do for MotoGP what you do with F1 - show the practice and qualifying sessions. They get that on some of the motorsports channels in Europe.
Cover some of the other motor racing and events. How about FIM Trials coverage? DTM? Aussie V8s (what NASCAR should be, imo).
How about a daily motorsports news program? 30 minutes should do it, expanded to 60 minutes on the weekends.
How about Classic Races from the past? Great MotoGP, F1 and motocross contests with the heroes of yesteryear, such as Stewart, Senna, Piquet, Roberts, Lawson, Agostini, Lackey, Mikkola and DeCoster? Classic baseball and football games are a big hit on the MLB and NFL networks.
How about more programs profiling racers, race teams, and machinery, like you've shown with the Motocross Files? Something similar to what you get with Biography, Modern Marvels, Great Planes, etc.
You want user-participation with the younger demographic? How about competitive video game racing?
Basically, make it all motorsports, all the time. Who needs gambling (Pinks, etc) when racing is the biggest gamble of all? Who needs faux drama (Wrecked, Whips, etc) when racing provides real drama? Who needs faux danger (Wrecked, etc) when racing provides real danger?
While you can't show racing 24/7, you can fill in with motorsports related content that build on the racing. Leave the faux reality and drama to the networks. When it comes to fake reality, that is the one thing they do well. Speed has REAL reality - it doesn't need to fake it.

i would like to see no chicago tow truck shows, pimp my ride, and all that other stuff that is not racing.
i would like to see somthing like the thursday night thunder that espn2 used to carry from IRP. i would also like to see more dirt racing, nascar east and west races. dirt bikes, F1, indy cars, nascar just more racing. i dont watch the road course bikes but i would be more likely to watch that over a tv show.
