Kyle would probably be leading the race now anyway but still NASCAR should be enforcing their own rules.

WHY wasn't Kylie punished for jumping the start ... and passing the leader before the start / finish line ???

Honestly, I'm confused about that as well. Maybe it's more of a gentlemen's agreement than a NASCAR rule?

I didn't see it, but if he passed on the outside, that's within the rules.

Braun was on pole but took the outside spot, Kyle passed on the inside. Should have been penalized but NASCAR just sees what they want to see.

Ok, Thanks.

What happened to Miller this time? I swear it, that #9 Busch team has been disappointing this year, regardless of who is in it.

I think Chase might've clipped Bliss' car when he spun in Carl's oil early on ...

But, it seems like once again ... Nobody can keep up with that JGR car that sometimes thinks it's the 18 or 20 or 32 ...

Seriously? I swear it, Chase was looking pretty good after that. He went from 31st to 22nd in a short amount of time.

Man, that team needs a shot in the arm. Hopefully Carpentier can provide the bullet next weekend at Montreal.

Well, they showed Chase driving past the spunout Bliss ... and LaJoie thought maybe Chase had clipped him ... But, I don't know if they ever showed any footage to confirm or deny it ...

I think the problem with that 9 team is the fact that Ray keeps switching up the drivers way too often ... So, the team is just having a hard time knowing what to put in that car to get it to run ...

I won't doubt that. While Kasey seems to adapt pretty well to that situation, Patrick (at times) and especially Chase seem to struggle. What Ray and George need to do is build up a second full-time Nationwide team for Chase. He needs some seat-time if he is to move onto the Cup series.

If it wasn't Chase in the car tonight, I would not be a frustrated. I know Chase has talent, however, and it frustrates me to see this. The #9 is trying to do what the #20 is doing, but they are falling desperately short. They have the resources to do great things and a loyal sponsor in Unilever, but...argh.

Maybe Ray & George should have put Spraychel in the car tonight ... LOL She'd prolly do a lot better ...

I think Chase should be running ARCA ... That sure seems to be helping Manteca's Speed demon ... wink

1. So much for the new rules having any effect. (which they probably wouldn't have on a short track)

2. I remember a rule where the pole sitter has to cross the start finish line first at the start of the race? What happened to that huh?

They showed a some stats at the begining of the race how JGR has all but one of the toyota wins and I bealive the 32 of Braun actually uses JGR motors and kyle busch was driving. I am sorry NASCAR punished a manufacuter when it is a team that is dominating and will continue to dominate dispite the penelty. If they wanted to fix it let the other makes use the same style engine as they do in the cup series.
