OH SNAP!
He out ran the 21 and he only had what? 5 laps on the track?
Good job mate... now back it up tomorrow.

I still would have liked Bill to get in also, i was very shocked that the Woods Didn't get in.
Bill usually does good on the bigger tracks, & he has won on this oval.
The bbq is fired up & the merriment & beer flowing is about to take over the street
Considering that Indy is sometimes described as a road course with only left turns, Marcos making the race doesn't surprise me that much. He's also a limited schedule, which means he's basically a racing mercenary. His only agenda this year is "Make the race, run the race, finish the race". No Chase, no Top 35 worries, he just wants to go as fast as he can for as long as they'll let him.

Wanna bet Bill wouldn't allow himself to be humiliated by the ritual Wood Bros have been using to get Jon qualified at the big tracks?

Ambrose will be starting at the back because of the engine change so he'll get plenty of practice.

They were probably relying on Terry getting in on time, which would've given Bill the PCP.

He's in the show, and that's all that matters. He has 160 laps to do something with.

YEH I AGREE THERE MATE about the RC style track. DID YOU SEE WHERE MOST OF THE OW DRIVERS HAVE QUALED, THEY LIKE this TRACK ALSO.
Bugger about the Engine tho & having to start at the rear. but he also did some good time for the 3rd & 4th practice after qualifying , so it looks like the car is a good drivers one. There again he can start to climb thru the field but will the big boys like him racing them hard if he has a good piece under him?
Glad yo see him make it. Are they staying with Ford next year?

New co-owner Brad Daugherty was quoted this week as saying: "Most likely not."
