Are you listening to the race in mono, stero, or surround sound?

Who cares, "IT'S RACING FOR GODS SAKE". Most of us would rather hear the engines!

It's annoying when you can't understand what is happening or why. I'm watching on a Mitsubishi Hd tv with very good sound. The sound got better at the end of the race,so they must have known something was wrong!

Sorry about jumping on you, 1st off welcome to the boards, I guess you were listening to the ALMS, because it was loud with the sound cranked up. Since I don't follow the series real close, it can be confusing keeping track of the classes and which cars are up front when the cameras keep switching from class to class. I've learned to try and follow the update strip at the top of the screen and not the announcers.

NBC did not have the sound right at the beginning of the race. Later, they fixed it but then you could hear all the stupid things the commentators said. I liked hearing the engines better.
