Tradegy has struck the racing world. In the first heat race at the Midwest Supermodifieds show in Toledo, Ohio a multi-car crash in collected four cars. Second generation driver Terry Gibson hit the turn one wall very hard and was extricated from his machine. He later succumbed from his injuries.

Just about to head out for the Hy-Miler Nationals at Sandusky...I'm sure Terry would have been racing this weekend, and the rest of the Gibson clan will be on hand competing as well...I'll be pulling for them...

Some nice tributes for Terry this weekend at Sandusky, and lots of donations to the Ryan Gibson Scholarship Fund...On Saturday night all the drivers went through the stands with their helmets to collect donations, including Johnny Benson.
