When E. Sr. used it, it was in his left driving shoe. E. Jr. had his in his gloves but he kept getting busted by the in-car camera.

Tell me something, if everyone is so sure that JGR is doing something with the 18 team to give them an advantage, then why aren't they doing the same with the 11 and 20 cars and finishing 1 2 3 every week? Kyle busch is an outstanding young driver who gives it everything he's got every race, Nascar doesn't need to do anything, other teams need to find more drivers like him.

And what's the difference this year with kyle winning versus last year with Jimmie Johnson winning every week?

I completely agree with this posting. I don't like Kyle and I'm sick of seeing him win, but until something suspious is found in the 18 car and garage all I can do is give him credit for making the field look bad.
He's not just winning in Nextel Cup. I wonder if everyone that thinks he's cheating in the Nationwide and Craftsman tours as well. He's just in the zone.

It's traction control. The device is not ridgid like you might think. It's sewed into the driver suit and connected via a trick 5 point harness(belts).

Yes, that must be it! I knew he was doing something, it all makes sense now! Traction control...who'd have thought?

Who'd have thought because he is the loosest car on the racetrack 85% of the time. The guy is sideways through most of the corner. Traction control? Please.

If you are going to make outlandish claims to being in the know about things like this, please support said claims with facts or evidence. Until then, all of you people complaining about Kyle winning races because you think he is cheating, spend some time uncovering FACTS to support your accusations and lay off the internet forums for a while.

I didn't hear an outpouring of condemnation last year, when the biggest cheater (proven cheating, not assumed) in the series WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP. Must be because he's a boring, corporate, uninteresting person who doesn't inspire much emotion one way or the other in most people, and is unwilling to admit or attempt to atone for his on track errors (which he consistently blames on other people or factors).

People don't like Kyle Busch because he is an agressive driver who doesn't care whether people boo him or cheer him. He goes out and tries to WIN RACES, not finish in the top 10 every week. And it irritates you more because he is really good at it.

But maybe all of you are just crying because he passed Jimmie on the outside with two to go last week. God, that was a sweet move.

When they figure out what 18 team was doing nascar should take the wins away!

you need to come to terms with the fact that tin foil is for wrapping potatos before tossin' em' in the oven.

not for making hats !!!

kyle goes for the win.
all of the rest (with the possible exception of carl edwards)
are in the points collecting mode.

that's an advantage that nobody can confiscate, regulate or deny.

and it's not easy to break out of the duldrums of points gathering and decide that you'd like to make an attempt to beat kyle to the finish line.
just ask jimmie johnson what it's like to be "shrubslapped".

Some Kyle Busch stats this year: Nextel Cup ... 7 wins in 19 starts , Nationwide ... 5 wins in 19 starts, Craftsman Truck ... 2 wins in 8 starts. In total ... 46 starts - 14 wins ... over 30% victory rate. I'm sick of him, but there's no denying what he's done so far in 2008. I just have to wonder if there will come a day where something illegal is found. This roll he's on can't go on all year, can it?

the advantage that the 18 has could be some type of stability control system. When JPM hit Kyle during the caution and turned him... as soon as the car went sideways the right front tire looked up. It was the only tire that locked up and you could see smoke come off it, very odd. I thought it was strange and watched it over and over again, in slow motion and frame by frame. The right front locks up and the right rear continues to roll, hes talented but to hit the breaks that quickly is a bit unrealistic regardless of the talent. It could be a brake bias thing but still to react that quickly? To this day seems awful strange IMO. I was really surprised no one else caught this. After reading this post I thought about it again. Im not sure what post's are sarcasm and which ones are not. But I thought I would put this idea out there.

Read again, especially the part in red. What (or who) do you think he was talking about?
