Big Mistake, but whatever if he wants to end up like Michael Waltrip, and Robby Gordon fine, and he thinks not winning this years been bad, just wait til next year

I think Tony is positioning himself for his own future, just as anyone should do for their immediate and long term goals. I wish great success for him. To SmokenTags20, man get some positive attitude! You go Tony!!!!!!

Sad, we've lost a great driver. Glad, we're about to gain a great owner.

Does anyone know if this is the same Haas that is an Indy Car owner (Carl Haas)? Funny how the article doesn't explain who CNC is either.

If Tony wants still contend for championships as a driver, he is committing career suicide. If wants retire in a few years and move into team mgmt, he could have some success.
The HAAS in question is not Carl Haas.

CNC is a computer controlled machining process.

I understand Haas is in prison.

He's still going to drive, we have gained the opportunity to watch him excel at the ultimate level. He has always been successful in everything else, and anyone who thinks he is doomed please pay attention and you can watch one of the greatest names in racing go over the top. As a fan, I wish him the best as he doesn't seem to do anything just for himself! JGR and Smoke are both class acts, best in the business.

I heard Zippy is staying with JGR (good for him). I can understand why Stewart would want to become an owner, but why HAAS? How many races have they made? Even if he has to use his Champ. Prov. to get in, will he be guaranteed a spot after 6 races?

Not to worry all. Racing is his whole life . He'll be running Hendrick equipment . He'll be a satilite team . He'll also contend for the championship NEXT year.Yab can take that to the bank
