Does anyone have the list of all entered teams?

Plus I heard that Lime Rock is too small for DP and Indycars but how can it support the speed and size of P1 and P2 cars? Can some explain this to me?

Yes I did during the Rolex GT race there about a month or so ago I believe as well as on this forum. That's the reason why there was a GT race at Lime Rock but no DP race from what I heard and read anyways. Wonder if thats true now about DP cars and Indycars.

I always thought the LMP1 & LMP2 cars are significantly faster than the DP cars.....

They are. Hell, the GT1 cars are faster than the DPs.

I'm looking forward to Lime Rock for the ALMS after they one month brake form the 24 hours of Le Mans last month. It should be a exciting race, the traffic will play a factor.

They probably said that because they weren’t using the chicane. The last time i was at LR the speed GT cars would lift the front tires coming up the hill. LMPs would be way to fast for the classic track layout.

Hard to say with the track being repaved and reconfigured.

BTW, heres a link to a video showing the repaved/re-shapped track. Kinda low to the ground, and the camera work could be better, but at least its a look, lol.

So if Limerock were to use the Chicane then Indycar would probably be able to use the track? The reason why I ask this is because everyone is always talking about taking Indycar out of The Glen (after last weekend though maybe not) and moving it somewhere else in the Northeast. I think Limerock would be a great place for Indycar but I guess thats a discussion for another forum page.

The ALMS Spotters Guide, which is supported by SpeedTV.com has been updated ready for Lime Rock. We had to take a guess on the new Falken GT-R, from some info in the Paddock, and we were almost spot on. A few sponsor decals missing, but pretty much there. You can see the Ford GT-R >>HERE<<, special thanks to Marshall for the pic

OK, back to the Spotters Guide. Marshall has helped me massively with this. Its available as a PDF and JPEG and shows all the (season) cars with the latest driver combinations and liveries, including the one-off Dyson, the aforementioned Falken Ford GT-R and the Bell Motorsports DBR9

Enjoy!

Hi, I am going to Lime Rock for the first time tomorrow. Does anybody know how easy parking is and if so, how much it costs?

From what I remember you'll basically head through a narrow bridge to a spot where your tickets will be collected and you'll be directed to the parking area. I'm pretty sure that parking is free (anyone please correct me if I'm wrong). As far as leaving, be prepared to spend some time in the parking area; I recommend spending some time post race inside the track as traffic will definitely be heavy on your way out.

I've been to Lime Rock the last couple of years and have had a blast, fantastic little course. Won't be able to make this year unfortunately. Make sure to walk the track; last year my girlfriend and I caught one of the Audi's back into the tire barrier coming down the final (very fast) turn onto the front straight as soon as we walked up. Have fun!

Hmm...the drivers do seem to be complaining mightily about the track layout and surface.
