Well I don't watch NASCAR anymore so the choice of which to watch is not hard. Now the choice to watch is a different matter, the Indycars at Nashville are not the most interesting of races. I might tape it and watch it the next day.

Seeing that the Indycar series hasn't raced since Richmond, I am in serious need of some Indycar racing. I will surely be watching Saturday night.

NASCAR? If I want to watch turds going in a circle, I watch the next time I flush.

Hmm. About every post on this thread are from NASCAR fans that watch Indycar. That's gotta stand for something. Sorry i can't reciprocate, it's just not my thing.

I don't see the conflict. I have yet to say awake during an entire Chicago NASCAR race.

I second this post. 1.5mile snooze-fest! as is most of NA$CAR these days, but that's another topic...

Indy for sure.. For Nascar I'll just watch Wind Tunnel and Dave Despain (and guest) will spend countless minutes recounting every detail of the Nascar race. I'm not much of a Nascar fan anyway.

Novi,
Dump the DISH, Get DirecTV (an Indy sponsor) and they'll give you free Tivo. It's a win, win, win situation!!!

It's the 21st century people, don't you own some type of TV recording device?

What a wonderful idea. Except I really don't care enough about the NASCAR race to watch the whole thing anyway. The Nasville race is pretty short so there really is no conflict for me.

I have the recording device, but only one satellite system hookup. So, it is one of two different stations.

Now we will be expected to have one of those new-fangled things that allows us to watch one and record the other. I have the same problem with one DirecTV receiver going. If the ICS race were on ABC, then I would have the option to use an antennae.

Bill Weber...has a very annoying nasal-voice...

When Bill Weber is going to throw the announce to Yocum in the pits, this is what Weber sounds like -

"Blah, blah, blah...blah, blah, blah...MATT!!!"

Me and my buddies all try to yell Matt!!! at the same time as Weber, then we have to finish our current beer. We call it the 'Weber rule'.

I'll be watching the ICS. From just to the left of the start/finish. :D

(Yeah, I'm excited about it. I hope my kiddo has as much fun as I will!)

NASCAR races are like NBA games, you only have to watch the last 5 minutes and you have seen all the action...i will be watching the ICS from Nashville!
