I'm saddened to report that Richard Hearn passed away Thursday night. Prayers go to Dawn, Richie, Peter and the rest of the Hearn family. I was privileged to be able to call Richard my friend. He was responsible for the start of a lot of young racer's careers in Karting, including Richie's. More important he new the true meaning of being a " Motorsports Family". I'm sure anyone that he helped at the track was touched by him.

This is the Richie Hearn of CART/INDY racing?

I can't see any link to news about this. What happened?

And when all else fails, BLAME SPEED!

“Crap programs” are anything that I don’t like.

“Because I don’t watch it” means that nobody watches it either.

Sounds like it was his dad.

MCMIKE referring to the cancellation of “Autoline Detroit”

Due to the constant need for logging in John McElroy gave up, missing the PMs telling him when they were taping....

^^^^^^^^
EDIT .....and seeing how this reply was submitted almost seven years before the thread started, he probably wasn’t looking for the PMs back then anyhow.....
