Some of these pit reporters fail at life.

Tonight after the Nationwide race I've had enough. When Jamie Little talked to Mike Wallace about the incident with his nephew, she pointed out it was his nephew. Well, no kidding you dummy. Do you want him to say "yeah, and next week I'm putting him in the wall"(take it easy on inevitable Lauren Wallace jokes, please)?

It's not just her. Marty Snyder, Bob Dillner, are other ones. It's like their only job is to start fights in the garage area. This isn't backstage at a WWE event, this is professional auto racing. These guys obviously don't have the professional part down.

It is the job of every TV reporter to get that nice little sound byte that will get everyone talking through the week. It's not just NASCAR reporters.

Amen brother,

I can't stand when the pit reporters are talking. I mean just shut up and let the broadcast team call the race. Instead of the pit reporters and broadcast team making small talk about what teams and drivers do when there away from the track. An Tim Brewer talking down to me. I just want to scream at them and tell them how stupid there making the sport Stock Car Racing seem.

I understand that all they care about is the new viewer. An screw the hardcore fans. But I mean these new fans must be dumb to the 10th power. I don't understand why the broadcasters have to talk in baby talk? An explain every little thing like were 3 years old and stuipid.

I only tuned in about halfway on the tube. I guess I just tune that stuff out when go to the NASCAR 101 talks. I don't think he ever heard/saw Brewer tonight?

Hey, I learn something new every time, like how I learned during qualifying that teams don't just push the brake pads back, they actually tie them back with wire.

I wish Mike Wallace had been more honest in his interview. Let's face it, everyone would have agreed with what he should have said.....

"Steven Wallace has no business in a race car. In fact I just told him that if he is still driving next year he better watch out for his cousin cause women don't forgive or forget!"

Yes but we all know if you are a racers kid you will get umpteen million chances to catch on. Some do, some don't.

I thought he was making some improvement until tonight.

One of the unfortunate things that racing has evolved into, is that it is for the "elites" A lot of talented drivers never get an opportunity because they don't have the money or can't convince someone who does to give them a chance.
