It reminds me of the cup season last year with Hendrick dominating but I agree, it's a little ridiculous when you can lead 57% of all laps run, 12 of 18 races, and you're undefeated on restrictor plate tracks. I'm not trying to bash Toyota but it does seem a little strange that last year they struggled and with in 1 year they completely dominate, but it's only JGR, the rest have only improved slightly but I think it's due to the fact the JGR has their own in-house motor program were as the rest of the teams get their motors from TRD in Calif.

Good teams get results. JGR is the 1st top level team that Toyota has had in Cup. It shows. But even so, only 1 car in 3 is tearing things up in Cup. I don't follow Nationwide enough to know how it's doing there.
Toyota has no qualms spending money on its race program and it shows
Since the other three manufacturers are all about to go under financially, and since NASCAR really like the SPEC Car idea, why not just race 43 Toyotas in each series? Pretty soon we will all be in one ourselves as there won't be anymore GM, Ford, or Chrysler... with Nissan soon to drop as well.
Was it not mentioned that Chevy is running an older type engine in Nationwide and Toyota is using there new type engine in Nationwide and Sprint? I could of swore I heard that last night.

I thought I heard one of the commentators say Chevy was not allowed to use their new engine in the Nationwide series. Bringing in Toyota was a bad move. They have unlimited money and once others can't compete those teams, sponsors and manufacturers will pull out and so will the fans.

How do they have unlimited money? Surely they can't be richer than Jr. and Mr. Hendrick? and even all the money in the world you can't beat the greatest RP racer in the world? Can You?

re-read the poster's post. That's what they said.
and speaking to THAT poster, Toyota's "new" engine is the only one they've ever had in competition in any of the series'. The Chevy lobbiests are contending that if they were using the same engine in all three series' then they'd be better
