The minute this turn coat left Roush to drive for Ginn, I wished him nothing but bad luck. He said reason for leaving was that he didnt want to run full time anymore. Now look at grandpa Mark, hes going to be running a full schedule for Hendrick next season in Spec Cup. What they say must be true, in that you cant trust a man in a bow tie.!!

I'm tired of Mark Martin. And I understand it's taboo to not like Mark Martin, Kyle Petty, etc. but these guys just don't know when to quit.

BTW, are all of the tracks going to take back those awards they gave him back when he was retiring with Rusty? And what about the rocking chair from Fox, I'm sure it's full of cobwebs.

He told them they could have it back. How can anyone put Mark Martin in with Kyle Petty? Martin is still contending for wins and running up front when he has a car that can, where is Petty? Martin said he wanted to cut back, not sure where everyone is saw this bit about him saying he was going to retire but I do wish someone would show me. I never saw where he said this so if someone can produce it then I will believe it.

What is wrong with someone that can still contend wanting to run in a good car that will give him that chance?

I think he was either supposed to retire or go to a partial schedule in Cup and run NCTS after 2005, then Jack convinced him to stay for another full season.

He wanted to go to trucks since they run fewer races than Nationwide or Cup and then maybe run a few companion Cup races with a team that was full time. Roush could not have another team and he wanted his 5 teams to be one driver full time and would not work with the other Ford teams at the time to get this for Mark. He talked him into running 1 more season full time due to Kurt Busch going to Penske and then they could not work out any deal for him. He never said he wanted to retire he said the season was too long and he wanted to cut back to spend more time with his family as at that time his son was into racing and he wanted to be there to help him out.
