Hello All.

Every year I post this thread, in an attempt to gauge who from the board is going to Mosport for the annual ALMS event.

This year should be exceptional as always.

10 races in total.

Friday is the test day for ALMS.

Saturday has ALMS practice and qualifying, along with races for:

Star Mazda
Speed GT
IMSA Lites
Porsche Cup
Formula 2000.

Sunday has the 2 hour, 45 minute ALMS feature event plus races for:

Speed Touring
Porsche Cup
IMSA Lites
Formula 2000.

Great weekend of racing. Tickets are $65.00 Canadian in advance for a weekend Superticket, plus $30.00 per vehicle for camping for the weekend.

Beware though. The crowds are likely to be bigger than ever this year, especially in light of there not being an Indy Car race in Toronto. It will be interesting if they can find a fast Canadian driver to pair with Franck Montagny in the AGR Acura at Mosport.

Looks for now like we'll be able to make it. Hotels were harder than ever to get & we booked months ago so your probably very correct about a big crowd.

I wonder if Wickens is available for the AGR Acura? With the Indy cars being in California that weekend it couldn't be Marco or any of his teammates in the IRL. Other than A1GP I'm not sure what else Wickens is driving at the moment but he would be a great choice for Mosport.

LOL...maybe Dario is free that weekend.

Providing nothing changes on the work front, I'll be there.

What corner or where do you watch the race ? I like turn 2 hill.I want to go to turn 5, never been there as a spectator...still haven`t figured it out doing lapping. Where you there for the Vintage race a few weeks ago ? Some friends of mine raced that weekend...a very sad day.

We could be watching the race anywhere from the outfield on Turns 2 or 3, or the infield at Turn 4, or down at Moss Corner. Should be somewhere in there.

The Blue Panel Van is my dads. He will likely be up there Thursday. I should be up there sometime Friday morning.

If you see the van, stop by for a visit. We always like visitors and meeting new folks.

One place I watched some of the Koni Challenge race from last month was corner 5 C.

It is very overgrown over there, but once you get down to the fence, it is a really, really interesting spot to watch.

For ALMS qualifying though, I hope to watch from the infield at Turn Four. Great spot.

I plan on going for Sunday only, driving up from the Buffalo area for the third year. Great track!!

Less than 4 weeks now. Cool.

I enjoyed the race at Mid-Ohio, and Mosport should be just as good if not better.

If the weather conditions are right, maybe we will see the lap record smashed again.

At 1:04 lap might just be in the offing.
