I'm back...we'll i was back yesterday but i was wiped. We camped out at the end of the back stretch and had a blast. The Glen is a beautiful facility in a very beautiful part of NY state. The group we went w/ had such a blast. Thanks for the tips as we walked around the track i saw some great views and action. We are planning to go again and since they are going to re-up i stoked! Thanks again

Yay! I'm glad you had a good time.. keeping an Open mind about Road Course racing was comendable , rather than merely sitting in one palce to watch the race --the entire road course experience should be a bonding outing and an adventure. (and you seemed to have the right spirit). Also, in this spirit I would like to try one of the short track oval races like Milwaukee, hopefully next year.

Different is different and enjoy the positives and look the past the negatives. Quite honestly, attending almost any live event is a good thing! I hope you get to Milwaukee or anywhere else you haven't been!
