Where did ESPN get the idea that Danica backed off the throttle before the timing line on her final lap?

I watched her time on the Live Timing & she set her fastest time on that final lap, thats still listed on the timing window, so clearly didn't back off too early.

1:29.3 for Wilson.

I wish they had sector times on T&S;.

When your talking about thousandths of a second, even a slight lift makes a big difference. The fact that she wasn't aware of the line being past the flag, proves it was quite possible that she lifted. Seems like something she should have known.

This knock out qualifying is alot of fun. They really need to get this on the air. Things are getting better. Sure its just a little, but to have this much only half way though the season is encouraging.

She was about four tenths behind Hunter-Reay, not sure if that lift made that much of a difference.

How about Darren Manning and A.J. Foyt Racing. They are a 1 car team and they just missed making the fast 6 and they always concentrate more on race setup than qualifying since they are a 1 car team. I think he could get a top 5 or maybe even a podium finish.

Great qualifying and I only saw the last 5 mins....Haha..

I wonder where all those "Ryan Briscoe gotta go" fans are now at the beginning of the season. Ryan has really made a comeback on the ovals and has the chance to prove himself at the Glen this weekend. With Helio rumored to have a long time extension with Penske and if Ryan can do the same - the Penske are a force not to be reckoned with for a few years both on ovals and road courses.

Also great job by Wilson and RHR and I was hoping some of the "rookie" drivers would of done better but oh well. Please no more wrecks and cautions...PLEASE!
