I'm glad the DeLorean made the 101 Cars You Must Drive list.
However the cars are worth a lot more than you say. Check the NADA prices at http://www.nadaguides.com. Look under Classic Cars, then Exotic, then DeLorean. The DeLorean is worth at least double what you say and is also worth more than it was new (before inflation). You can't say that about many cars from the early '80s. About 3/4ths of the cars are still on the road. The DeLorean has passed the test of time. Take a DeLorean on the road and it gets more looks than any car out there today.

Top speed 109 mph ???? I've had mine up to 115 mph easy. My engine is stock. Top speed is actually more like 135 mph. With the engine mods that the Delorean motor company is putting out you can get 190 horsepower out of the Delorean's PRV V-6.
