Are you kidding me?? Loudon makes Mid-Ohio look like Qatar in terms of run-off.
Edmondson saying,
There's no more conservative group of people than motorcycle racers," said Edmondson when speaking of changes to AMA racing, including adding different venues. "They have a comfort zone the size of a gnat." WTF!! Now he's calling the riders names!?!?
This is just unbelievable he wants them to race there again. This guy is not making any friends in the paddock.

Unless Loudon has changed dramatically in the last decade or so it's a death-trap.

Agreed - RE needs some sort of reality check, or perhaps should at least stick to his medication. What a bozo --

Edmondson said DMG would have to "weigh the hazard and the risk" of any venue. They will do that with site visits and a pro rider committee.
Are you kidding me??? Didn't he say this week he didn't recognize the Rider Safety Council. Does he think we are so stupid we cant remember back five days? Maybe his "new fans" are. I'm so stunned I can't even type a long enough post to vent.

How is this for a quote: "There's no more conservative group of people than motorcycle racers," said Edmondson when speaking of changes to AMA racing, including adding different venues. "They have a comfort zone the size of a gnat."
Wow, motorcycle racers are conservative! No, jackass, they hang their lives on the line for sport and prefer to do it away from walls. Hey, where Syfan? Shouldn't he be championing the cause?

Yeah that track is way too dangerous for motorcycles. I know Tommy Wilson and that track just about killed him. In fact it's got a horrible record with the Nascar boys also.

Maybe DMG is thinking that bikes limited to 130HP can't go fast go fast enough to hurt riders and therefore they can run on a crappy track like Loudon. Maybe that's the master plan here.

Ever been to Loudon? Last time I was there that place would be dangerous on a scooter. Edmondson simply doesn't give a #### about the riders. It's that simple. Money is all that matters.

This just doesn't seem to be the right way to promote a series. Even though the AMA has sold the series, isn't the AMA all about riders rights? It seems to me they should weigh in on the subject.

This just shows RE is trying to cater to and attract the Harley crowd. Bike week at Daytona and Bike week at Laconia. If there were a track close enough to Sturgis that would be added as well.
Everything I have seen is the Harley crowd could give a rip about roadracing, if they even had a slight interest how can you explain the lack of crowds at Daytona??

They are still racing at Loudon, WERA and vintage events. RE should ask Miguel Duhamel about Loudon, his crash there in 1998 almost ended his career. No, it has not been changed significantly either. The place stinks for bikes.
