Lorenzo out for the weekend, ankles ok but needs to be observed as he hit his head hard.

as a fellow spaniard, let me just go ahead and say this: lorenzo is a tool. a jacka$$ if you will, and even though YES i do know he landed hard, him missing a race due to being medically restricted was going to happen sooner or later this season. not just because of the way he rides but more importantly because of his ego. he needs to be able to say "well, the only reason i didnt win the championship is because ******************* not because there is anybody out there more talented than me...."

Well I give him credit for being fast as hell but he's also definitely showing that he's young.

Yeah...Lorenzo biffed big time this morning, so did Hopper. Haven't heard anything about Hopper yet, but Lorenzo's bike was wasted.

Looks like Nicky may finally have the pace to run up front this week...I hope. Has anyone heard what happened last week? I'm thinking a bad tire, since whatever it was seemed to happen early in the race, but I haven't read ANY explaination. Too bad about Lorenzo, I really wanted him to spank Dani every week. I wouldn't bet against Rossi again this week. He looks like his old self now that the bike is working the way he likes, and when he's comfortable on the bike, he always seems to have another gear when push comes to shove.

Last week all that came from Hayden (that I heard) was 'we have to look at the telemetry'. Lorenzo's crash wasn't too bad, but wow, you can't slide the gravel much worse than that! His head took a beating.
Qualifying was interesting, more so than usual imo - glad to see Stoner get one and nice to see Hayden on the front row. Haven't seen the Q session analysis yet but in FP3 something like 6 riders were pretty quick - could be an interesting race. Rossi has a good race pace, should be interesting to watch him come from the third row!
Toseland looks quick, not back for a first-timer.

Rossi looked like he had a machine issue, as he changed bikes with about 10 mins left. He then went slightly off track on his first fast lap. His second fast lap didn't really pan out.
Stoners pole lap was incredible. Hats off to him because the other Ducatis' are nowhere. Melandri lobbed it with about 5 mins left.
JT a good sixth place.

Yeah, Melandri's crash isn't going to help his confidence - the front went away fast.

Rossi, Rossi, Rossi....
for the race. Should be a good one with him coming from mid-pack.
Oddly enough, he won't choke off the line from mid-pack.
Haters, watch it and weep!

i thoroughly enjoyed watching rossi choke away the '06 championship and whine when casey stomped him in '07, now it's my turn to suffer.
by all means, please, gloat away.
