Toyota bought themselves in,buying teams and they will screw it up.Nascar needs to look into investigating Toyota for cheating and are getting away with "murder".Toyota has already screwed up the truck series.I agree with Jack Roush 100%,Toyota does not belong in this sport.

What does xenophobia have to do with the tech board? Call your congressman ... see if he cares.

How about this: Toto was allowed to change their valve train geometry (rocker arms, valve springs) to a better more stabler valve train. More RPM=more power.

Hard to believe that the car that has been at the top of sales charts for CARS for about 10 years, and is the one car in NASCAR that is made in the US, doesn't belong in an American racing series. Some people say its because the profits go to Japan. Actually, the profits go to the stockholders. See your stockbroker and buy some Toyota stock, and you can share in the profits, which Toyota actually earns. Or get a job at a US Toyota plant and get a big cash bonus every year.

How about this: Nascar specifies the gear ratios at each track, meaning little or no difference in RPM for the makes.

C'mon back when you have something besides a wild guess.

Oh boo hoo you hurt my feelings. I already knew about ratio limitations. I just thought it was strange that toto made changes to valve train geometry and made their engines more reliable.

Ohhhhhhhhh...........so that RPM=more power thingy was just an aside.....ohhhhh kayyyyy. Still unclear on how a 'more stabler (sic)* valve train makes cars faster.......

Don't feed the trolls! Funny! Tough crowd. I can see where this is going.
I should have been more precise about about Toyota engines and their valve train
problem. It took Mark Cronquist to show JGR their engines had to reliable for a full race
and produce a usable power band.
What goes around, does. Ford, Chevy, Dodge will
come up with way to make more power and it will start all over again.

And they will after the oil and alternative energy is used up. Guys racing in shopping carts or soapbox derby's.
As long as someone has to prove theirs is bigger.
