good luck to PT, as or him running in the trucks, he is a racer.. he committed to champcar, so if the no irl teams want him , the guy wants to race,, so nascar hear he goes..it's a big loss to indycars...they need his personality in the series...sure beats the 'danica' tantrums...

Maybe PT is just being stubborn and wont sign a deal unless the team is competitive. You see him signing with Marty Roth Racing? OR maybe on top of it all, he is just asking too much to sign him. I could care less what he does. Let him open his own go-kart shop in albia, iowa for all i care.

Obviously I'm happy that Tracy might be back on the track soon, driving something. ICS is still a mile away from the ideal situation when you see PT leave under these circumstances. TG really got some great publicity with that 14th place run by Hamilton, who like half of the field, I don't recall seeing on television.
I read an article about Hamilton which described his work to secure the sponsorship for that ride, so I guess he was chosen because he brought the cash to pay and is also an IRL loyalist. He also drove a 4th Vision car in the race last year I think.
I am also glad to see Paul Tracy may be back racing soon although I would like to see him in ALMS instead of NASCAR.
That was definitely the difference, Hamilton got sponsorship. Tracy tried all his contacts, but could not. TG should have stuck him in a car on his dime anyway. As for PT's future, I agree he ought to be in sports cars ALMS or Rolex, not NASCAR.

The reason PT is not in open wheel is his settlement with Forsythe means he can't race in open wheel this year.

PT will be in IndyCar next year ... so will Forsythe ... but they won't be together.

me too ... I think they'll both be in the IRL next year, at least at Indy if not more.

Where did you hear that? The last I heard, they were still working on a settlement.
