Things that make you go huh?

Is Tony Jr. that much smarter than the folks working on the 24 and 48? Maybe he ain't sharing his information?

Or

Is Dale Jr. just that much better a driver than Jeff & Jimmie?

Sumthing berry berry fishy going on at HMS me thinks.

Nothing fishy. The problem with the 24 is overall comfort. (not the seat or anything) He doesn't feel like the car has any stability undneath him. He's one of those drivers that needs to feel like he is driving the car rather than just being a passenger. They are testing and working on things. It will get better.

Plus it may be important to remember that had Jeff not had DNFs at Daytona Vegas he's probably have another 250 points.

Well you can call me just another wacky conspiracy theorist. With all the faults we KNOW are in other major sports, are we naive enough to think NASCAR is not capable of the same?

JMHO but NASCAR, Hendrick and all the rest would benefit if they could get Jr. a championship by hook or by crook. Who is gonna complain and who is gonna believe them? A rising tide raises all ships and if you believe that the Jr. combo is the best thing going at Hendrick...I've got a bridge in Brooklyn that I'd like to sell ya..smile

Couldn't be happier to oblige. You're another wacky conspiracy theorist.

Gordon, Johnson, Mears and Earnhardt are racers. When the green flag drops, they are only interested in one thing. Make as many comparisons to other team sports as you like - this is the only one that includes the element of danger. There's nothing else like it.

That Steve Letarte is a real bum. I can't believe the best he could do was 4th. He should be fired immediately.

He was Jeff's crew chief last season?
yes he was after a six week suspension with chad (thecheat)knaus, and while he was gone jeff won with a back up crewchief!whois now helping bobnby lebonte, and doing better then jeff racing!

WHAT?

Steve Letarte wasn't Jeff's crew chief until after he got suspended for six weeks for being caught with The Cheat thecheatcharactervideotc4.png

While he was suspended (before he was Jeff's crew chief) Jeff won in a backup crew chief (kind of like that All-Star race a few years ago). Now Bobnby Lebonte (I think he runs in the Modified Series) has the backup crew chief and he's doing better than Team Jeff Racing!

ROFLOL!!! You made me laugh! I heart The Cheat!!!

My how short peoples memories are. Wasent Letarte the CC for Jeffy last season when he won several races and lead the points for good part of the season? Why make a CC change now? There is plenty of time to turn things around and its stupid to just change CC's in the middle of the season, that wont solve anything.

Ask Reed Sorenson and Juan Montoya about that!
