How can you be 23rd and 6 seconds from 1st? 1 lap race?

Maybe is was qualifying .... the story is vague other than to say there's another race today.

I think the article quite clearly says "training" and later today "qualifying".
That Kai Borre Anderson is not slow.

Should at least shut up the non-stop MotoGP wild card rumors for a while.

From what I read in the Italian press, he finished race 1 in 28th and a lap down on the leaders. Second to last finisher.

In Race 2 he crashed out. He was quoted as saying (rough translation), "The races were a lot more challenging that qualifying. I didn't get hurt in the crash, only the bike... but it did make for good pictures." Which I'm sure you can all find on your own.

Honestly, I don't think it is a bad result. A lap down for a guy who has been racing for less than a year. And he has improved every time out as well.

Oh, and who predicted he would end up racing in German SBK? Anyone? Anyone?

The story said it was his first race. I thought he already had a few club races this year. Either way, how can you fault the guy for going out and having a good time? He's got all eyes on him as a rookie with very little to gain. He knows he's going to get spanked for a long time but he's out there having fun.
