(Sidepoint: This is a huge negative for the COT. When you have fast guys in the front of the field able to drive away from everybody else who is at a disadvantage because of their track position it doesn't make for "good" racing by most people's standards. Until NASCAR makes some tweaks I see the potential for more of these kind of races to come.)
I wouldn't call this the 'sidepoint'. It's the WHOLE point. With the former cars we had some races that were boring parades. Now most of them are. More drivers are commenting on how difficult it is to pass in the COT. Even Jerry Bonkowski on Yahoo Sports said that the race was not as exciting as in the past. Translate: boring!
I'm starting to feel like it is the cars controlling the race, not the drivers. When a car has a 2-4 second lead, the driver is pretty much steering - not using his talent. When a fast car pulls up to another fast car and no pass takes place, or a wreck does, where's the skill in that?
What can be done at this point?

+1 I think we would have been better off sticking with the old cars atleast than there were passes for the lead other than on pit stops and restarts.
