I love it! The guy has amazing car control but it will all come down to how quickly he can find the limit on the brakes. He seems to like racing so much maybe he can do F1 and GP2 at the same time.

He probably will never race in F1, but it's nice to see a Nascar driver wanting to race in the TRUE pinnacle of motorsports. He just became my favorite Nascar driver.

I don't know, Kyle sounds naive to me...
That's like saying NASCAR is just about going in circle with a bunch of cars around me...yeah right.
Plus this reminds me of the Montoya/Gordan trade off they had in Indy a few years back. Its mostly all hype based on Toyota and nothing more then that.
Hummm..I wonder how Tony Stewart feels about now..

“We're working on a test session right now at the end of November or beginning of December sometime going to Japan and doing a little exhibition sort of deal and see what it's like,” Busch said at Lowe’s Motor Speedway Friday, prior to practice for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race XXIV. “We'll take the Cup car over there, too, I think. Just kind of run around there at either Twin Ring (Motegi) or something like that and show them what the Cup cars are like and try to get in the Formula 1 car, too.”
Sounds less like a test than a show.
At any rate, he doesn't sound really focused on the F1 test aspect.
Almost sounds to me like they might be using the F1 demo aspect of this to get Japanese fans interested enough to come take a look at a NASCAB while they're there.

Schrub is a special talent that doesn't come around very often. That boy can seriously drive. He would be fun to watch in F1, ruffling the feathers of the Lewie and Kimi fanboys in the process.

bring him on! . . as i said, he will be eaten ALIVE!! . . lol
he is not for the F1 paddock! .. it's not just driving, it's all the other "stuff" around it!
with just only driving, you can NOT survive!!
it will be fun though, for us! lol
he will be the "sacrifice lamb" for the USA!

The way he drives he would never finish a race. In fact, he likely wouldn't make it through the first turn. His driving style suits NSCAR because he is aggressive and isn't afraid to bang wheels, fenders, walls, etc. His car would never last.

His driving style suits NASCAR, because he is racing in NASCAR. Don't you think he would actually change his style to suit the car and series he is in. Hasn't he done that already. Talented drivers (in any of the top series) are capable of LEARNING new skills and Kyle has talent.

I hope they go to Fuji and see how fast he can get around that track so we can get a good comparison. If he's can get close to the times F1 did last year (in the wet) than he might just have a chance to get a few laughs outta of him.
