No Kevin Miller is really betting some people in the Midwest PO'd with his actions and I can't blame them. I have dropped all my support for USAC except for the Tony Bettenhausen 100 and the Ft. Wayne Indoor series.

With Stabb's and Darland's dismissal he has shown complete disregard for what the fans want to see: good shows run by competitant people.

Stabb was the best thing to happen to USAC's sprintcar division and Brenda knew what the hell to do in the pits for lineups.

Same old USAC for now. Can't see them being around by themself much longer at this rate. NASCAR will buy them for sure soon.

What, with their ideal of USAC racing that drew 8 cars for a race?

Wasn't the SC Spec Car a prototype of the CoT? And didn't they learn ANYTHING from that fiasco?

Yeah. They learned the new cars will be spun off into their own series in 2009 after some rework and the old style pavement Silver Crown cars (that were used in the now defunct PRA) will be back on the 1 mile and under paved tracks.

The new series for the New Gen cars will be run on 1 mile to 1.5 mile high banked tracks likes Chicagoland, Kansas, Gateway, Nashville, Kentucky, Homestead, Phoenix, Rockingham, Darlington, and Loudon.

I have to disagree with dumping co-sanctioned midget events...I didn't listen to the interview...what was the reasoning behind that?

Curious - if the old group of management put USAC into where it is today, isn't change the only real shot at bringing USAC back?

And like every series out there, it has to have a media program that gets it before the race fans and past the hard core fans and begins chipping away at bringing in new fans.

Now I know notta about the old management, nor this new guy. I just know that USAC has badly slipped over the years, and that just maybe, change is needed.

for what ever my 2 cents is worth,.....or not

i realize im new to these message board things but have been a long time fan of usac and they needed a huge change. what mr. miller is trying to do is youthenize the sport attract new fans... that is his main focus.

if certain people need to be let go then so be it. that is life i guess.

plenty of jobs in racing im sure those let go will be fine.

see y'all at IRP on saturday for the night before the 500.

He ousted Greg Stabb. The USAC sprintcar division owes it's life to Greg. Without him it would have dwindled into obscurity. It's going to happen now.

USAC has screwed the pooch here with these latest decisions.

How about taking the new Silver Crown cars and putting the old Toyota truck engines in them and run Special races for NASCAR Toyota drivers to run before the Real Silver Crown cars run at ORP??
