Not so true there. Plenty of pressure was on him at Brno in '01. Biaggi's "track", Rossi just had his worst finish previous at Sachsenring, Biaggi was getting close on points and had tested at Brno, while Rossi had to do Suzuka 8-hours for HRC.
Rossi led and upped the pace til Biaggi cracked and crashed. Title race over.
Pressure comes in many different ways rather than just one race you're eluding to. Looking in arrears, it seems like more pressure would've been on the other guy. It was his only ever chance to win the title. And he did it, so good for him no matter how much luck it took to get there. Others have not taken advantage of their opportunities.

I'm just saying it like I saw it.

rossi choked. some people need to learn to accept that.
although i doubt they ever will.
the dani can't pass thing is taking on a life of its own on this bbs absent of facts such as his tires fading, etc. i saw colin on a superior machine fail to pass stoner and was more dissapointed in that bit of reality.

The analysis is there Dosed, just a pain to find.
Go to Results and Statistics, at the bottom under 'Global 2008 results by event' click on France. Under 'Sessions Results' click on the session you want. When you select the session, under 'Other Results' click 'Analysis' and then 'Download Analysis' or the pdf icon. They post them as quickly as ever but you have to screw around with that stupid site to find ANYTHING.

Oh, as far as Pedrosa 'cracking': according to him, and depending on which interview, he had front tire, rear tire and/or braking problems. I think he was using 'Biaggi's Big Book of Excuses' and forgot which page he was on.

in Brno and every other time he clinched the title, he always had several races to be able to seal it... one time he had a one race for all the marbles and he choked... he botched the start and low sided out like a total rookie... i would have never believed it if it had not happenned...

Pedro has no problems passing most people... like Dosed mentioned, the pass he put on Stoner was a pretty pass...
funny how some people think you should just pass Rossi and be done with it
most of those same people fail to mention any of those big passes Pedro's teammate has made in his career... oh yeah... not so many there either...

btw, just watched the replay of the JT and Dovi incident... it is about 1:09:40 of the full race replay at MOTOGP.com... Dovi was considerably more off line than what the pictures previously posted show... he blew the corner and then just came down on top of JT... JT and Lorenzo were on line... still just a racing incident, but, Dovi should have known better...
it is much like the vid that RR posted of Pedro... you know the one where Pedro was obviously at fault... the one that infuriated RR so much that he just had to post it up... oh how i love the irony...
