Wow...Rossi's on a roll now heading to Mugello. You gotta give Lorenzo some props for a great ride, Colin also. Dani just can't handle any kind of moisture on the track. Sucks for Stoner, he's in a big hole now. We'll get our first glimpse of the pneumatic valve Honda in Mugello anyway.

Very nice race from the begining (with Dani, Stoner, Valentino and Edwards) till the end (with GREAT LORENZO). Excellent to see Nieto and Vale together for their 180 wins. Last Nieto win was also in Le mans...

Dani should learn to ride in wet conditions, but still the first not yamaha rrider by far.

weird... the Life-Like-Colin-Doll shows blistering practice times, but, the race is a different story... again, weird... sorry Gary...

all harrasment aside, this was probably the most consistent race from the Life-Like-Colin-Doll since he has been in MotoGP... plus, a 3rd is just like a win to him...

Lorenzo is just ridiculous... right here and now... the previous poster was right, if he is not your hero he should be...

and just like everyone else, i thought the Nieto/Rossi ride back to parc ferme was about the coolest thing i have seen on a racetrack... i even made my kids come watch it... they could care less, but, i thought they should see it...

i was having connection issues, so, i missed the JT vs. Dovi crash... i sure hope RR comes on here and gives us a totally objective break down of what happenned LOL

Hopper and the chain was a killer... he seemed to be headed for a decent enough finish... hey, maybe we should start the Kawasaki hates Hopper threads?

everyone i mentioned that should get their resume's updated... well, they should get their resume's updated... tonight...

The Toseland/Dovi crash was shown quickly after the race but not when it happened, so they'll have it on film. The clip they showed was so short you couldn't tell but I'm guessing the highlight will be longer. I have no doubt how RR will see it, but I'll judge for myself.

Rossi was on a mission! And yeah, Lorenzo's ride would have been impressive if he was healthy. He's going to scary when he heals.

hayden appears to have reverted to his 2003 form. i would expect that dovi will have that seat next year if this keeps up.

I'm going to agree with something said in another forum - I think it's time for Hayden to leave Repsol and get out of Pedrosa's garage. Edwards seems reborn after getting out of Fiat Yamaha and I think a different team might do the same for Hayden. If he does and his results remain mediocre...it's time to look elsewhere.

i would think that hayden would be a good fit on the ducati, given that his dirt track background is similar to stoner's.

there are going to be a couple changes up and down the grid next year, and i expect given his experience he will be in demand somewhere.

i agree, it looks like Hayden's style may not fit HRC's making of their MotoGp bike, but it may work better on the Duc. I hope he stays in MotoGp because he is far better than most of the "prospects" available to take a seat. In the meantime I just hope he doesn't get too downbeaten by the way things are going.

Some guys seem to be beaten up by results and never get their true potential back (i.e. Bostrom, Poggiali, etc) Could include a few more yet to see in there as well. But, I don't think Hayden fits that category. I believe he's a little shy of what the best are capable of, but given the right "marraige" he might prosper better than now.

Oh, by the way, how 'bout that pedrosa? poor little tike just couldn't keep the pace! Maybe he will need that extra umphh, just to get on the podium?

title shot is over, it's all Rossi's. You remember, the guy's that washed up as many of you said. grin

Pedrosa looked like he panicked when a few raindrops hit his screen - who knows, maybe he had a slide.

Two years in row where the pre-season was meaningless. This looked like a Stoner runaway season - until race 2. I'm not giving it to Rossi yet - both Lorenzo and Pedrosa could still do it, and Rossi is fully capable of another run of bad luck!

I was one that said Rossi wouldn't win a race this year. I'll give him his due and I've been a Rossi fan for a long time. I'm a Honda guy and when you jump ship, even if your Rossi, I find someone else to root for. That being said, I'm not handing the championship to him already, if anything, he better watch out for Lorenzo. And that was a Yamaha track so don't count PeePee out yet either. It's a little early to be sayin it's over.

Hey I feel cheated.. only 25% more spoilers. I demand 50%! LOL

Well Lorenzo is no hero. He is finally starting to show his true colors as I predicted. He almost had me believing he changed. Rossi was keen to cease the opp. to out "glitz" Lorenzo. So cool with Neito thing. He had to win.. the pressure was on. All this hype about Lori... geez... how quick we forget Haydens championship with way more serious stuff and no press coverage on it at all. To this day.. Nicky suffers from what Dani did. Did I hear any "hero" coverage when he just kept on racing .. don't think so. Having touted Nicky, tell me who hasn't raced with same or worse injuries and performed well. Hey where's "Hoppers" and "Rossi's" riding injured accolades???????? Remember Sete???? In fact he got trashed instead of idolized while riding injured so severely he had to retire EOS.

Finally, I don't believe Lori is hurt as bad as he is saying. It's a stunt. When your hurt that bad... do you put it in the kitty litter 3 times during practice? He was pretty aggressive about it even. I swore for a minute I thought Jamie Hacking had stolen his ride!

Just got back and had a great weekend at the track.

Spent the weekend with Brad Smiths family and was lucky enough to watch MotoGP qually from the paddock !!

For Mr Rolfo, I had a quick word with the afro'd Simoncelli in there and he is a nice guy. You might want to try it.

JT was interviewed on Eurosport by Randy and he said that Dovi made a mistake and took him out, BUT THAT IS RACING. He was disappointed but thats it. No dripping, whining or crying, just accepted a racing incident. Some others might want to take a leaf out of his book.
Brad got an awesome second place after hitting a false neutral off the line. To come back from 17th at the end of lap one to get a career best second place was awesome.
Only fly in the ointment was the 90 Euro (about 140 bucks) fine by the French Police for speeding on the way back. I was lucky actually as I was done for doing 160kms/h(100mph) in a 100, but about 2 mins before I was doing 145....
Oops...

where does someone start with as big a pile of crap as the above post?

what exactly does LTD suffer "to this day" from?

Sete' was never that injured... he retired becasue he knew he had nothing left to compete... he was a mental wreck...

and i am patiently waiting for the internet backlash about KK saying that he thinks Lorenzo is faking it... come on now guys, don'e let me down... rolleyes

Lorenzo is out there racing with 2 broken ankles and still making alot of people look second rate...

KK, <<KOO KOO... KOO KOO>>
