that rain race at Rd Am is my all time favorite race. in particular, watching gobert. i sat on up on the edge of the couch holding my jaw closed the entire time. some of the best riding i've ever seen

You guys remember the one WSB rain race at Phillip Island a few years ago when he lapped the field on the Bimota?? Sure he knew the track well and it was raining but that has got to go down as one of the single greatest performances of all time.

As good as when he burst on the scene as a virtual unknown killed everybody in both WSB races also at Phillip Island as a wild-card riding a Muzzy Kawasaki.

That's what I was thinking too! Like about 3 yrs old. If you don't race ya don't know crap. If you do race, your slow and stupid and "don't know nothin!" Can't win in this Catch 22 scenario can ya. If ya listen to him long enough you'll start believin he's a 7 time AMA Superbike Champ.

1998 WSBK Laguna - Neat players! Mladin, Hacking, Haga, Corser, Russell, BBoz and a few others.

I remember siting on the hill watching Ru$$ell pitch it away. It had already been announced over the PA that Scott was given a stop-n-go, and it was kinda obvious that he knew he was wrong and threw it away intentionally and almost everyone on the hill believed it.

Didn't he do something like that his last season with Harley? Intentionally jump the start, get the lead and throw it away. Get up after he stopped sliding and take a bow??
