I would love to see them back at both Loudon and Pocono. Maybe in a few years if they pull the second NASCAR date from Pocono, we'll get both of them back on the IndyCar schedule.
I'd attend both races.
I refuse to attend the Pocono NASCAR races, get better action sitting on an overpass and watching rush hour on the Garden State Parkway. I would go for an Indycar race. It's extremely unlikely, because the Mattioli family have made statements lately that they would rent the track out to the IRL. Improvements on the track are equally unlikely unless NASCAR forces them.

Lap after lap of 43 cars in a pack, no. But, you do get racing at Pocono.

Being that I live 10 minutes from this track and I drink beer with some of the officials of this said track. This is a strong rumor that the IRL might come back. Before the split, the CART races brought in just as many people as most if not all NASCAR races. Not only did they bring a great diversity of fans to NHIS, they brought a lot of fanny pack wearing Canucks as well. If they do come back, I'd like to see them lengthen the race. However, it might take a couple of years to bring them back due to the track changes that might be happening...like re-building a real road course like my early child days of watching Bryar Motorsports Park.

The racing at New Hampshire isn't that bad and they did draw well before the split.

NHIS knows they are losing their second NASCAR date so, you know they will promote IndyCar again.

It's not the most exciting track, but I can surely think of worse. It is a former CART and IRL venue, a drivers track (one-mile, shaped a bit like Homestead, not all-out all the way around) and in an area where Indycar doesn't really race right now. Would be nice to see a non-ICS oval added to the schedule!

The Nascar races at Pocono are very boring just like they are at Indy Michigan and Fontana. All these tracks were designed for Indy car style racing! Seeing the Indy cars go through the tunnel turn would be pretty cool! Hopefully some day we can have these tracks back on the schedule So we can drop the high bank tracks designed for Nascar racing

Fixed!
I went to Pocono for CART and IMSA races back in the 80's and it was a great show every time. I have a picture of the Red Lobster March (you can see it here...
http://www.johnstarkeycars.com/pages/for_sale/RedLobster.html) next to my desk that was taken by my brother at the hairpin in the infield at Pocono.
CART was great there. They flew into turn one but had to really compromise the setups to get through the tunnel turn and turn 3 quickly. I think Dick Simon put Mario Andretti in the fence in Turn 3 early in the last race there. I recall Johnny Rutherford leading in the Vermont American No. 21 before he packed it into the wall coming out of Turn 1 on another of my trips there.
Also, Sammy Swindell in an IndyCar was another great sight at Pocono.
It was a tough race every year. 500 miles on a very big and fast oval.

One of the best races I have ever seen was between Nigel and PT at NHIS. Would be great if they went back to Loudon. A track that was built for Indy Cars.

That was 1993. Rahal lapped the field in 92, and Marlboro Team Penske lapped the field in 94 finishing 1-2-3 (they also did at Milwaukee, Portland, Mid-Ohio, Nazareth and the Points standings). Ribeiro won in 95 in I think a fuel mileage race?

This track is about 4 hours closer to me than Watkins Glen... I'd love it if they came back.
