If Jason Tahinci can slog around in the back of GP2 for 3 years, Danica can get a chance if she wants it and someone's willing to pay for it.

I thought this part was particularly hysterical:

“In the IRL I do not see anything,” (Triple World Champion Nelson) Piquet said in response to suggestions that F1 should leap on the opportunity to secure its first female driver since Italian Giovanna Amati failed to qualify for Brabham back in 1992. “No brakes, no corners, no nothing.”

The Brazilian attempted to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 in 1992, but badly injured himself in a practice accident.

why? i know what you're getting at, but he's right. not to mention qualifying for indy in 92 was a whole lot different than what's going on now.

Running ovals doesn't do much to prepare you for F1. F1 doesn't do much to prepare you for running ovals.
