Hey guys, I've only been to the track for race day, but I'm thinking of heading over for Pole day tomorrow. Being that the crowds won't be as insane as race day, where should I park? Where do you purchase admission? Where's the best place to view the pole runs? Thanks in advance for the valuable info.

You purchase tickets at the gate. $10. Indianapolis Star is offering 2 for 1 coupons in Friday's paper.

We park in Turn 3. That's the only infield parking left. I'm not sure how it is this year with the modifications they made to the road course.

We're going to try to get there as soon as gates open at 7am. Infield lot will fill up in a few hours. First ones in park closest to the viewing mounds.

Best place to view the pole runs? Probably the front stretch. When I was younger we'd sit in Turn 2. I'm not all that thrilled about sitting in Turn 3/North Chute like we do now but hey, we're in the track.

Front stretch is good. If you sit on the inside along pit lane you can see the activity and watch the cars go through tech. I enjoy doing that. If you sit on the outside then you can sit up hight in what's normally the expensive seats and watch the cars for a good portion of the way around. On practice and qualifying days all seats are general admission seats.

Do you know if the outside lots will be open? Like the Coke lot or the one behind turn 2? I won't be able to get to the track until close to noon.
