Well, if GRID is any indication, the game will look spectacular.

I've yet to see a "Sim" on a gaming console and not PC. I thought Codemasters' IRL games stunk.

I was soooooo disappointed in Codemaster's IndyCar game. I bought it for both PC and PS2 and it sucked on both platforms.

I also have bought some of Codemasters previous racing games and found them lacking and not much "sim"

SimBin has Race Pro coming out for XBox360 soon. It's not an F1 game but if its anything like Race07 its the one we will all be playing. I have Race07 for my comp but you have to play early in the day because its mostly Europeans who play it online. Hellacious racing with those guys. A lot of fun. Hopefully with the 360 version it will bring all the North American players out.

I won't give Codemasters any of my money if they plan on using the same engine as they used on their previous games. A simple port to 360 and F1 skins wont do for me.

SimBin is the way to go. I'll be hijacking my nephews 360 when this comes out.

Wow...Race Pro looks fantastic.

Seeing this thread got me started looking again, and I came across a discussion which led me to Codemasters' discussion pages where they're asking for input from F1 fans. They say they aren't making the game in the arcade format, and they want input on the sport and the season at one group of threads: http://community.codemasters.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=1013. In another group of threads they're looking for your "wish list" of things you want to see in the game: http://community.codemasters.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=1014.

Let them know what you think! I know I will...

Also, while I was there, I came across an off-road game in development, due out next year, called Fuel. Looks unbelievably good.

Well, I am glad to hear. I hadn't see a F1 game out for several years since the PS1.
