Saw this on racerxill:
Stewart to San Manuel?
The rumor of the day is that Chad Reed and San Manuel have not come to terms for 2009, and that James Stewart will be taking his place. Several team managers have confirmed this, so stay tuned to Racer X for more on this development.
Is he just getting San Manuel as a sponsor on his Kawi or is he going to be on the San Manuel Yamaha? If he goes, RV's definitely gonna be the one taking his spot but I'd like to see a Kawi superteam with both of them.

I just read racerhead this morning, it said Stewart may be going to Suzuki. Silly season has begun...
Then last week in racerhead, DC had Villopoto going to Joe Gibbs. Turned out to be not true but it's interesting the Gibbs team being linked to land a major player like RV away from Kawasaki. A couple of years ago, the Joe Gibbs team didn't even exist (in motocross).

I've heard James has burned a lot of bridges all around. I don't know that he's really worth his salary.

I just saw there was a season re-cap yesterday on CBS at noon. Speed did not broadcast the last race of the season until 6pm. Everyone involved with this blunder deserves a round of applause.

LOL - same thing happened to me, and I was too curious to turn the channel.
Stewart is probably moving to a team where he can have Red Bull as a sponser.

I have some close friends that know James well and there's no talk or hints on anything. I live about an hour away from his house and I know he is seriously training and riding everyday. This must be a well kept secert because Racer X doesn't have any scoop, just some fantasy stuff they threw out there to get us all talking. James will be on green for some time.

We'd just be happy to seem him "on Green" period. Without him the racing had been a bit boring.
