^What he asked?
Well I am not sure where ya all have been but, Pedrosa has been 6-8mph faster at every race this yr so far. It seems to be the only real difference in lap times between Nicky & Danni IMO. Anyone got insight as to WHY?
Well if its like the last race,Nicky is STILL riding the spring valve engine and ASIMO is riding the pneumatic valve engine.Of course Honda will tell you that they are being treated equal and that Nicky prefers the spring valve bike, but Nick has been making a little noise lately about things that are out of his control and things he isnt supposed to talk about

I'm pretty sure Honda hasn't run the pneumatic valve engine in a race yet, only during preseason testing.

No pneumatic valve Honda engines are in use yet. I think Povol is thinking of the first race where Pedrosa was on the '08 chassis and Hayden on the '07, but both were running valve springs. Both are also on '08 chassis now, I believe.
Honda says the pneumatic engine's power delivery is still too abrupt, but that reliability is fine - if you choose to believe that, lol.
As far as why Pedrosa is faster, I think he's an elf. Maybe magic? Probably his light weight is helping him get off the corners better and he's getting better drive onto the straights, or else he's just a better rider. That's all I can come up with!

^I like the elf theory.
It's the most popular with the die-hard Hayden fans, too

Believe me, it's been mentioned, along with every possible ramification of weight, height, width, etc, etc, etc.
Weight (within reason)is not a significant factor for top speed but it affects everything else.
