PINKS title for title is the heart and soul of PINKS all out, and a lot of other Speed Chanell programs.
It takes Balls to put a ton of money in a car, drive to a track, and wager the title.
I have been on the show, lost, and have built a new car for another try.
Give those of us who are willing to "Put it all on the line" a place to.
Keep PINKS Title for Title for at least one more season

And stop replaying the show thousands of times, endlessly at the most prime viewing hours available.
Not to mention that I disagree strongly that anything related to PINKS is the "heart and soul" of anything at the Speed network.

First, I said "A lot of the shows", not ALL.
I agree that perhaps the reruns are a bit excessive, but the Speed Network is a business, like any other. The make their money on selling advertising. That would lead me to beleive that the show runs as often as it does because it is generating revenue.
Which brings another question to mind........Why consider cancelling a show that is a money maker ? Or are PINKS ratings sagging...???

Pinks could die tomorrow and I would never notice. I put a ton of my money in my car and have never been on Pinks. And, I still have my car. It does not take balls to lose your car on Pinks it takes stupidity.

Just my opinion but pinks is a turd needing to be flushed. why not show the fastest street car shoot out or something like that . Not a bunch of guys standing around yelling and crying. Get rid of the guy doing the funky chicken and get some lights at least.

No doubt! It should be listed in the comedy section.. Show up with a car 2 seconds faster than agreed upon, let Rich talk the suckers into a headups race, win a couple by barely running your car, give the suckers a crazy length race or two, then let Rich bully the suckers into a final "minimum" length race and kick the livin chit out of em'... Why dont they put em on the lights and show their ET's at the other end? Then you'll find out who's sand baggin and who's come to race! 10 lengths and the "funky chicken" make for a joke of a drag race imo..

I second the thought "title for title" is the heart and soul of dragging. Not familiar with the PINKS show though, back in the day, dragracing was taken to heart and many lost their souls (and not referring to a ton of money). Even if it's built "Johnny Cash Style" (not costing a dime), it takes real nerve to put blood, sweat, and your pride on the line. I say it takes nerve, cause being a female I can't much relate to it taking Balls, though the comment it taking stupidity only shows that Mr. HEDTONE is most surely a GUTLESS WINDBAG! And IF he actually did have a ton of money in his car, you can bet it's only in appearance and as far as a dragster, IT AIN'T WORTH A DIME!!!!

"Title for Title" is NOT the "heart and soul" of "dragging" (drag racing) as you say it is. The "heart and soul" of drag racing is running your car as hard as it will go, and hoping to beat the car in the lane next to you, and if you lose, you take it home and try to make it run faster. Pinks is a joke. There are no lights and no timers. Without timers, there is no way of telling if a car is running "all out" or sandbagging. Only a fool would take that chance, or maybe someone wanting to be on TV. It's simple to manipulate how well a car runs, shift points being the easiest.
Many people put "tons of money" in their cars, making them part of their personality, some built for performance, others just to look good, and shouldn't be ridiculed for not wanting to race them, much less chance losing them. Did I put a lot of money in my car, and does it run good? HELL YEA!! Will I run it title for title? Not a chance. It looks much better with ME driving it!

Sharp ride! Trust me it would look good with a monkey driving it!! I would tend to agree with you 'bout Pinks (3 out of 5?), never defended their rules, but let's AGREE to DISAGREE on the definition or term of "heart and soul" in dragging. I was raised by the "old school" ways, when drag racing wasn't for "showboats", you put your money where your mouth is or don't waste my time, wasn't given any "second chances" (goverment welfare). I've NEVER "ridiculed" folks for Not wanting to race their ride, only when one starts to mouth about how much better it may run, I say "back it up or shut up!" (heart and soul)

Thanks for the complement...
Back when I was young and dumb (young anyway), I
did my share of street racing. We would bet $5 or
$10, head to a straight rural road out of town,
look for the local gestapo, mash the throttle,
and the winner and his friends got the bragging
rights. Then, back to town, for the "big payout"
and the friendly discussions about our cars (and
girls). I met many people from other towns (a few I
am friends with today) and the comrade-ship in
those days was great. I now wouldn't condone any
form of street racing, take it to the local track
and settle it there, but despite all the dangers and
it being illegal (and definetly stupid!), those distant
memories still burn clearly.
My point being, if you race it, run the car as hard as
it will go every time you run it, so the fastest car
wins the first time. No need for 3 out of 5.
"Heart and Soul"...Good friends and fast cars.

PINKS sucks. Can it and replace it with ACTUAL racing.
