Cable provider had tech problems showing the Spanish F1 race. Tried to find out when the race was scheduled to show again.Looked at every calender day and guess what NO REBROADCAST !!! What is the policy of SPEED with showing the race again one week and then not??? And on the same topic is there any way to get the video of any and or all the F1 races for the season ???

Well thanks for clearing up the lack of a REBROADCAST F1 race by SPEED TV...I knew there was a logical explaination for it.

There is no room in the schedule this week. If you look, today it's got Motorcycle racing all day.

And when all else fails, BLAME SPEED!

“Crap programs” are anything that I don’t like.

“Because I don’t watch it” means that nobody watches it either.

Bernie owns all the rights to F1. This includes re-broadcasts. If Speed wants to re-broadcast the race later in the week they would have to pay Bernie and for the ratings they would get for a re-broadcast it's just not worth the money.

Funny thing about SPEED ... I think they just don't care! (I may have said this before)

Those who actually tune in to SPEED for the sheer pleasure of watching actual motor racing have become ignored to the point of stupidity!

It isn't hard to figure out what the programmers are broadcasting instead of actual racing. I believe STRUNS nailed it ... PINKS, MORE PINKS, THE COLOR PINK, ETC.

OK, SPEED TV is a business and businesses have to make money to survive ... Yada, Yada. So, if they are gaining more revenue from broadcasting that crap then someone must be buying it or promoting it.

So where the hell are these people?

Take a look at the PINKS board that was started May 14, 2007 ... WOW, one whole reply (actually the author posted this too)! Where are all the fans that support this show? Personally, I believe that the 1300 or so views were just people like me seeing who actually posted a reply so that they could jump all over them.

Furthermore, aside from the million or so weekly advertisements on SPEED for PINKS and all things PINK, where is all the other promotion? Who or what corporation is actually promoting this crap outside of SPEED? I don't think I have ever come across so much as a blurb in a magazine let alone a billboard or subway ad?

Are SPEED ramming this down our throats because there is some evil dark and sinister conspiratorial mindfreak going on? Is it just a case of there being no other broadcast alternatives here in NA, so they don't care and don't feel pressured to change? Do they just not care about F1 (although they often seem to whine about the poor support for F1 in NA) so they don't spend the resources that an ITV would? (Man I hope not to all of the above)

If anyone can figure it out please let me know because I am totally frustrated with the morons at SPEED.

In the meantime, I'll keep on downloading F1 races and qualifying that generous individuals post via torrents, not to mention the extras on YouTube and such. Just watched all three previous races that ITV broadcasted and it was really interesting to see the differences between SPEED vs. ITV.

Reality TV is very cheap to produce compared to any sporting event. They have a small crew and do not have to pay the participants. This means it is easier for the broadcasters to make money off the show.

Even if Speed themselves are not at the track for a race, they have to pay the sanctioning body a fee to broadcast the race. Who knows what these fees are but, they must not be cheap or else Speed would show more races.

As for the Pinks forum being deserted, what are you going to talk about on the internet about Pinks? I cannot think of one topic to talk about concerning Pinks and I actually watch the show.

The issue is more that Pinks fans do not make enough money to afford a computer with internet access, nor do they have enough intelligence to know how to use them.

Um I think they did have computers but it was slow and all the geeks took/won the comps away from those pinks watching idiots who will bet on anything. Somebody at SpeedTV needs to realize that reality TV doesn't work on Speed since the "real" racing is better than "reality tv racing". Ask anyone watching NFL/NBA would you rather watch a game live or bunch of overpaid idiots being stupid on mtv cribs or the life in the D-league?

SpeedTV when are you going to fix this problematic site of yours? Why did you put me in Lima Peru’s timezone? TOS enforcement isn’t funny.

It's funny that you mentioned Cable, since Speed wants to push everyone to DirecTV. Maybe they intentionally messed up the cable feed so that everyone would complain about it and switch to DirecTV. oops did i just out the programmers and marketing people out of their attempt to push more people to DTV?

Wait a few days since the schedule of Speed has not been working well according to others. Maybe you'll get lucky or maybe you can pretend that bald Pinks host as Hobbs and squint your eyes and make vrooom vrrrrom sound and imagine your watching the race again.
