The whole idea behind commercials is to get you to remember the product/service/etc.
Sounds like this one worked. 
That's a fair point, but I think it's memorable for all the wrong reasons, like getting punched in the face.
And just think, I thought it was only me that was a little disappointed with the associative factor of the Castrol ads.
Who ever they are trying to indenture is not on my Christmas card list, so I just switched from Castrol ... and now I use Valvoline instead.
It was always my understanding that advertisements were to attract not alienate potential clients.
I do not need to be "insulted" into buying a specific manufacturers product.
Goodbye Casrtrol ... Hello Valvoline !!!
Oh, by the way Jack Links Jerky is right up there (or is it down) with Castrol regarding my shopping list!!!
