We have had the best smell associated with racing. Now, we turn to food. What is the best thing you have ever eaten at a race track, or bought outside the track? I guess you could include food that you prepare outside the track too.

Mine. There is a race track in the Grundy County Fair Grounds in Illinois. The fair grounds are in Morris, IL, just west of Joliet, IL. They have this pork tenderloin sandwich. The tenderloin is pounded very thin, less than a 1/4 inch thick, and it is breaded and deep fried. This tenderloin goes on a hamburger bun. The bun is about 6 inches across, and the tenderloin sticks out about an inch all the way around.

On Friday night, they hold stock car races. And, on Saturday night, they host midget races.

Breakfast burritos cooked at 10,000 feet on race morning at Pike's Peak. Washed down with some PBR.

Is there a track anywhere that makes a decent piece of pizza?

At Chicagoland Motor Speedway has a local Pizzeria at the track. But, I cannot attest to it being any good.

Do you know what's in that stuff?
I love the variety of stuff being cooked at Sebring. Screw the track food.

How about the worst track food? The hamburgers at Daytona. You are better off eating out of the dumpster at Ruby Tuesdays across the street.
