Greetings fellow F1 board members.
I have the opportunity to attend the Italian GP in September and need some local travel advice from any of you who may have been before. I am flying in and out of Frankfurt due to a trade show that I am attending after the GP and I plan to take a train to Milan for the race, then back to Germany. Once in Milan, things get fuzzy. I need some advice on the following…
1. Where to stay, Milan or Monza. Which is better / more convenient?
2. Reasonably priced hotels in the Milan locale.
3. Travel to and from the track from Milan (if I stay there). Train, Bus, Taxi???
4. Any other miscellaneous information that would be good to know from those with experience at this event.
Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Go to advanced search:
Search for “My Monza and Spa Experience” and enter “ericok” as the author.
I attended Monza last year and posted my travel experience. As a summary:
I stayed in Milan (6 miles from Monza)
Monza is a very small town, if you want to stay there start looking now
There are no “reasonably priced” hotels in Milan
I took the train from Milan to Monza (very short ride)
Don’t wait too long to get tickets
Before taking the train to Milan from Frankfurt, check with the cheap European airlines: Ryanair looks like they fly for 30 Euro one way,

Ty much for the information. I’ve gotten tickets off the back Chicane in section 17, and will be booking a hotel this week as well as tickets from Frankfurt to Milan. I was unable to locate your previous post. If you find it, let me take a look.
Edit: Found your post. Thanks again!
