The race was okay. I was happy that Bowyer and Dale Jr. did well. BKez could've done better, but he's still very consistent. Onto Phoenix! smile

Dale Jr starts 10th and Kyle Busch starts 31st, while Kevin Harvicks on the Pole.

You were saying....LOL.

I understand your allegiance to Dale Jr. I also understand that you may dislike Kyle. But, disliking someone and underestimating them are two different things. smile

Kylie is definitely one of those cats that you should never underestimate ... whether it be the number of spots he can gain on one lap / 10 laps / 100 laps ... or how many times he'll have a conversation with Irma DeWalle ... or what might come out of his mouth after he's lost/won a race ... wink

OK. I know this should be obvious....but, Irma DeWalle? You mean hitting the wall? LOL Just don't say duh!

3KBs came up with the Irma bit ... She didn't like my Fifi DeWalle name ... LOL We were trying to give the wall a name like Jacques DeBris back in Feb ... LOL wink

I'd forgotten that!

You can flirt with Irma but if you get fresh she'll slap you.

I didn't think Fifi sounded like a face-slapper. wink

I bet Dee was standing off camera ... wanting her part back so she could go club her supplier upside the head ... wink

I certainly wouldn't want to be the person explaining how I came to supply defective equipment to her. I have infinite respect for her competence. Reminds me of my mother -- good at getting the best out of her people and a holy terror to incompetents and slackers.

was it just me or was that the most boring race ever, I fell asleep twice, texas normally puts on a decent show, there seemed to be very little passing up front, the cars where strung out, just not much action, must be a poor combo with this car.

It was fun watching Kyle move forward through the pack.

Got sort of dull after that though. Late race tension and uncertainty shouldn't consist mainly of waiting for the earth to open and swallow the leader's car because that's about the only think that hasn't happened to him yet when he had a big lead. wink

But his 12th career Nationwide victory still required a late decision. During a caution with 10 laps to go, Busch and crew chief Jason Ratcliff tossed around the idea of pitting for tires. Burton, in second, would have his No. 29 Holiday Inn Chevrolet directly behind on the restart. Busch's team wondered if Burton would head for the pits.

Busch made the call himself.

"When I saw the 29 stay out, I knew that I was going to stay out," he said. "Normally, when you do what the 29 does, you're going to win or finish right there with him. Jeff is awfully good at what he does. I can learn a lot more from Jeff.
