my opinion is that max mosley should resign from formula 1. i can’t beleive that the fia organization will not dismiss him. he should be ashamed of his actions. i support bmw, mercedes and the other manufacturers and the racing teams that demand this resignation. formula 1 needs a real supporter and sir jackie stewart would be an excellent choice to replace him.

Probably find that Sir Jackie would rather lick the marbles off a hot racing tire that work with (read “for") Bernie!

I thought that what people did in their private lives was supposed to be nobody else’s business?

As long as private lives are kept private, well, I guess I’d have to agree.

But realize: this Mosley story has some deep roots which were very far from private.
A quick perusal of Wikipedia’s discussion of Max’s dad, Oswald Mosley, provides a broader context for the scandal.
I wonder how many critics here are actually aware of the Oswald family history and how it resonates with Max’s private perversions.

I do believe that the FIA and Formula 1 both stand to suffer substantially from their association with Max Mosley.

I don’t believe, though, that anything will be done about it.
The fact that nobody can really force somebody as rich and powerful as Max Mosley to step down is, perhaps, the real message here.

What do you think?

I don’t believe there is one human being that would not be disgraced if certain actions or events in their lives were made public.  Simply because he has out of main stream preferences does not in any way negate his contribution to the FIA and Formula One.  No law was broken, no harm no foul.
