there is nothing wrong the show. It is showing our heritage like any other show on this channel we have the right to this played on air. And please bring it back for another season. VIVA LA RAZA

it's just another garbage show for a network that's headed to the bin. this station really has no more lugs.

Here is the thing, it's not that I particularily mind a half hour of programming for lowriders. The thing is, I used to be able to at some point during Speed/Speedvision's programming day be able to catch a retrospective on a classic race with Hobbs, or learn something I didnt know about a sports car marque, or whatever. Shows like livin' the low life tend to take the brunt of our frustration that such programming rarely, if at all, exists on this channel anymore! Would you 'Raza's' appreciate Brian Redman driving a 908/3 in the Targa Florio? What I'm getting at is that it's racist if someone were to take pride in a sports car designed for SPEED (hence the name of the channel), and then annoyingly ended the post by saying something like WHITE PRIDE?
Again, it's really not as if we all as car people couldn't coexist on the programming schedule, in fact I do indeed have just about a half hour's worth of appreciation for lowriders. It's just the fact that there are lowrider shows and assorted what-not, and our shows have just about completely disappeared from the channel which we were at one point so excited to get and watched all day when we had a chance. I think SPEED has essentially figured that its old Speedvision audience will continue to tune in for Nascar and F1 racing coverage so we need not be considered beyond that, so they changed everything else to poorly edited niche shows that probably don't build any real audience for the channel beyond that particular niche's time slot.

There needs to be some sort of a balance between the shows they air. Obviously watching speed I'm in motorsports and cars, but seriously i can only stomach so much of lowriders and pimpin' peoples rides and Nascar. One of the best shows I've seen on speed this year was the special they did on Acura's ALMS P1 car development.
Maybe what speed needs is to split into 2 channels, one catering to motorsports and the other catering more towards tv show type programs (wrecked, etc...)

Now that sounds like a good idea.
