Super Cars Exposed

I know I've been quite negative about most of SPEED's programming over the last few years, all the stupid Unique Whips and "Tunerz" crap and NASCAR news show after NASCAR news show after NASCAR news show... so I thought I'd actually mention that this new show, Super Cars Exposed, is actually pretty entertaining.

#1 - It's hosted by Tanner Faust and Townsend Bell, not some bald idiot who doesn't know a camshaft from a driveshaft.

#2 - It compares lap times and objectively critiques cars, not subjective trash. In one episode we've had an Exige, an F430 and a 911 GT2.

#3 - I haven't seen a single thing about "bling" or "rimz" in the entire half hour.

So, as of right now, I will tentatively give the show a thumbs up, and put it on my good list beside Dream Car Garage. Hopefully (god I hope), it'll stay this way.

Why do I get the feeling the ratings will somehow tank and it'll be replaced by Unique Whips repeats instead. :(

So did anyone get to see the first episode of SuperCars Exposed? I though it was good. Of course it is nowhere near the production value of TopGear. But I don't hold any car shows to that standard, that isn't fair. Overall, I think the show has promise. I like Tanner Foust and id the show focuses on performance and not bling and showy stuff, it will be good.

My bad dude, I didn't even know that you had posted this thread and I made one with the same topic and post and everything, not realizing. Anyhow, I agree with you. I liked the show a lot. This is the kind of show that I've been waiting for them to produce for a long time. I hope it sticks around too. And BTW, Towsend Bell was just a guest for that 1st show... I think. I think Tanner Foust is the only host. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it would have been better to take the cars to a road course and really put them through there paces. The show has potential.

This is MUCH better than the Pinks shows, but I'd love to see some better testing of the cars. I'd love to see them run a lap at a track and time it. Not take these cars up a one mile stretch of a public road in the wet.

Wow, thanks guys. I haven't seen it yet, but I'll check it out.

Good to see Townsend is doing something. I always liked him a lot.

Aston Martin episode was great! I love this show. I hope others agree with me, but seeing is how this thread doesn't have many responses, I don't know whether people have even given it a look yet.

Last night's new episode was great! It featured the Saleen S7R and Saleen S7 TT, plus a Ford GT race school, and with Tanner being treated to rides on a bunch of cool army machinery as thanks for giving rides to the troops in the supercars.
