Schwag......
Well it's about time you give Paige some air time, She is a great improvement to your ole mug! hahaha. Great show, keep up the great work!
Funny, most people on this board hate these type of shows being on SPEED but the thread suddenly turns positive toward this pile of steaming poo after one of the guys from the show and ppl who've been on the show, start posting. P U

I admit that I am biased, as I'm sure most who participate in Pass Time are. I run my car at my local test-n-tune at least once a month on average. I enjoy the show in the fact that I am watching a lot of the same type cars that I line up with at the track. I do think the house, Ken, having a chance to win and the measley $2K prize is kind of cheap, but I still enjoy the content of the show.
I'm sure the show probably has a small demographic audience, but hey, there's enough air-time for a few shows of this type. I myself care nothing about shows like Super Bikes, Monster Trucks etc... but I would not come out here slamming them just because they do not fit my interest. I have friends that I know are as passionate about those shows as I am about Pass Time.
My buds from my local racing forums and the track all love the show. It may be a small following, but expect to see more positive posts as more people get to participate and when the give more camera time to Paige, the car wrangler...hahaha
Why bother paying for each round won when the final race takes ALL the money....kinda pointless to me. Wheel of Fortune has been more exciting.....there's Vanna....a lot bigger payout....but (lol) no drag racing. I do like guessing the times and seeing the cars run.
Revamp the show, polish it up and Speed might have a keeper of a show there.

Just IMHO,

Really? I tuned in yesterday at about 4:30ET & found the guide for Speed telling me there were a bunch of Pinks, Wreck *whatever* and shopping stuff taking up the next 16.5 hours before I saw the words "Auto Racing"... That's just sad. This attitude of "there's plenty of time for 1 program" leads into a network with little racing and lots of clique shows.
While Paige is, I'm quite sure, a lovely woman she should not be the selling point for a show on Speed. Although, seeing as the point is to guess a time, Bob Barker did pretty well with Barker's Beauties & Howie Mandell has a couple of dozen hot women to push a crappy show. Hell, add 5 more women & NBC might take this show off of Speed's hands.
Glad I'm off of work for a few days. Otherwise I'd not be seeing F1 practice, as it doesn't get a later replay time. Yeah, while normally at work, I could try and catch it on PVR but the GF has crucial HGTV & Food things to watch & record. LOL Anyway, the point of this part of the forum is to express your opinion on shows... It would be nice if they paid attention to something other than positive comments.
It's sort of like a phone poll sponsored by political party X... "On a scale of 1 to 5. What kind of job is political party X doing? Where 1 is 'just short of fantastic' and 5 is 'absolutely amazing bordering on perfect'."
Since "Pass Time" only aired 3 days this week, (mon, tues & wed) I have no response to your post this morning. I was disappointed to see the Pink All-Out marathon on last night myself. However, that is a programming issue and has nothing to do with this thread about the "Pass Time" show.
I wish I had the day off. Have a great weekend and enjoy some races.
When I first started watching the show I didn't really like it. I wasn't crazy about watching stock Dodge pick ups. The quality of the cars has vastly improved though. I don't have any problem with Mustangs (or anything else except rear engine dragsters), as long as they're clean and relatively fast. The program gradually became entertaining. It got to where I liked it enough to run in Montgomery. That was fun too, something different than the usual trip to the dragstrip.
Somebody must be watching and enjoying the program, I got phone calls from all over the country when we were on this week. Many from people that had no idea we ever went to Montgomery to run.
A lot of the positive posts in here have the suspicious feel of "show employee/friend" about them. 1-post history with wording straight out of the marketing copy.
I love racing and cars, BUT this is one show that I can't watch at all. Saw it when it first came out and haven't watched it since, either revamp the show or drop it for some racing or at least a racing show.
Well you cant please everyone.. First off it does not always come down to the last race of the night on the show to determine the winner. Its who has the most cash at end of show and its winner take all.. And as far as ratings go we have a huge fan base watching. If you dont like the show all yah have to do is turn the channel. Its a working man or gal kinda show. For the person who cant wait for the end of the work week to get to their local Test N Tune and run there car. Simple show for the working class stiff. But your always gonna have player haters that want to see something else on tv or just like to mouth off for no reason at all. And thats okay too. Its America and the freedom of speech dealio..Thanks for watching.....Brett
LMAO! Oh sweet Jesus, there you go folks... you don't like crap on Speed? Man, you must be some white collar elitist. Get yo ass back to Starbucks and drink yo $15 late. Get my dealio?! LOL Too much!
Sounds more like Speed likes cheap crap.
& "mouthing off"? WTF forum is this? "Tell us What You Think"... Hmmm? Okay? "Tell us What You Think & Let Us Make Excuses for Showing Crap" would be a better name for the forum. Hey, you know, truth in avertising & all of that. Hell, "Speed" may think of dropping that word from it's name... speaking of truth in advertising.
It would be nice if they paid attention to something other than positive comments.
What they pay attention to are the actual TV ratings and advertising dollars. Folks can whine all they want on an annonymous internet forum but the bottom line is, if SpeedTV is making money on it, it will continue.
After reviewing this thread, I see over twice as many positive posts than negative. Almost 3 to 1 for the show in fact. But then, we do live in a country and time where the vocal minority DO get their way after whining loud and long enough. Good luck with your negative campaign.
