Granted you won't learn anything from the show that will improve the quality of your life, but it's not a bunch of false attitudes, false negotitions, false bickering or jiggling false chested women parading around. It comes on late, and runs more than 5 races in a half hour. It promotes local drag racing, it takes a good variety of vehicles, it's not hokie, and it's better than any of the "reality" shows. I don't make it a point to watch it, but it's a decent filler. It's got a good beat but it's hard to dance to. I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

If anything, SPEED had a tendancey to overkill new shows, good ideas or bad. This is a good enough show for a half hour, but then move on, otherwise we're looking at reruns every 3 weeks.

Ken, you need to tape some new shows. Tired of seeing same old episodes like they do on Pinks. Like I wrote earlier, 1/8 mile racing is popular and in Hertford, NC their is a track Northeast Dragway that would be perfect and my Nova would look good on TV.

See Ya!

Brett, Ken,
Northeast Dragway in Herford NC is a great 1/8 mile track and Richmond Dragway in Richmond Va is a axle breaker 1/8-1/4 mile track. The names of personnal that call Richmond home is awesome. We have Pinks winners and Pinks Finalist that race at this track, Ronnie Sox called this his home track. You should contact the track managers, you won't be let down.

2 things:

First, I have my DVR setup to record all new episodes. It records every time the show comes on. Seems to be an error in the EPG data because they all say original air date Jan 18th.

Second,
Any info on when the Montgomery, Alabama shows will air?

I was in show 2 bonus round.

Thanks,
Scott Smith
Montgomery, Alabama.

Fully Agree......Between Pass Time, Pinks, Pinks all Out, they are bringing grass roots Drag Racing to the attention of the general public who is finding it exciting again. If your not a multi-million dollar pro racer your having a tough time seeking sponsorship. Watch national TV coverage and what do they show, just Pro Classes: Top Fuel, Top Fuel Funny, Pro Stock, Pro-Stock Bike and we all own those vehicles, right! These shows focus on the average racer and give them opportunities get their name and ability out there to the manufactures and business that hopefully will notice. If you boil it all down its marketing and with out a venue to get a sponsor name out there you don't have a chance. Sponsors are seeking "Air Time" and there is not a better venue then a show that only focuses on the common racer, you and me......
You have to look at these lads as providing a service for all us racers who enjoy the sport of Drag Racing and the majority are looking for ways to get sponsorship. I can tell you that it helped us a little.

Thanks Brett, Ken, Rich, Nate, the Pullen Crew...and Speed Channel for airing these shows.

Thanks Jeff, I have raced at Richmond Dragway, I am partial to Northeast Dragway though, good people run track and race there. Makes a world of difference when you are still learning.

I'm in for Northeast in Hertford. A great little track with even better people! Hey Jeff I see retirement is treating you well. How did you do at pinks? Tom

Hey Tom,
Retirement is great; only one issue....Got to get a real job to afford all the toys. Made the final 16 and shattered a valve in the burn out box at Gainesville during the first taped run.. Murphy’s Law is alive and well. The link: http://www.oldguysgoingfast.com/Pinks.html

Should be getting down to Hertford later on in the season. Got to do some shake down runs with the new Bruno in the blower car.

Give me a call, we're doing vinyl graphics and lettering now at the shop if you need anything for the S-10.

Just wanted to drop by and say how much I enjoy the show.

It's great to see more drag racing on Speed. (Anything but 24/7 NASCAR)

Pass Time should come to Kansas City (KCIR, Heartland Park)

Keep it real SCHWAG! cool smile
