NASCAR probably wanted to dominate the early evening ratings.

I was at the race. The weather was perfect. The nighttime finish was really cool. I'm still in Daytona and it hasn't rained a drop as of 12:47AM.

This whole thread just has that "George Bush doesn't care about black people" vibe to it.

I would just like NASCAR to cut all the BS out. I tune in to see racing not concerts before the race starts if I wanted a music concert I'd tune into VH1.

The COT (er CFH, figure it out) well

COT had a real good finish

The COT put on the best race I've seen since the 90's, it was actual racing!

late start hurt the daytona. no way. i was at the bud shootout and the arca race right before that which was a day race. dont get me wrong. day races are ok but daytona under the lights....awesome.the shootout was a blast. to bad this year was the last bud shootout. hope someone else sponsors something similar in the future.

Coors has the sponsorship for the pole now. It will be the Coors shootout next year.

so... just tune in at 3:30 EST and no problem for you...the BS is for the people in the grandstands, mostly anyway...it was the 50th running, so there was extra stuff...no one held a gun to your head...rf
